Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Osteopath to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and demonstrate a commitment to providing holistic care to patients. As an Osteopath, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, utilising manual therapy techniques to improve patient health and wellbeing. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories and physical conditions. Develop tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs, incorporating osteopathic techniques. Perform manual therapy, including manipulation and mobilisation of the musculoskeletal system. Educate patients on lifestyle changes, exercise programmes, and self-care strategies to enhance recovery. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in osteopathy and related fields. Qualifications A recognised degree in Osteopathy or equivalent qualification. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology is essential. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. Previous experience in a clinical setting is advantageous but not essential for newly qualified practitioners. A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning within the field of osteopathy.
